CHIRAG is committed to integrated development of rural
communities in the Indian Central Himalayas, with special emphasis on the weaker
sections of the society. We have been running various programmes to achieve the
objectives of development. However, given the limitations of resources at our
disposal there is often a disparity between what is intended and achieved.
We feel that we could be far more effective if you were to join
hands with us to ensure a better tomorrow for these isolated and neglected
communities. Any help rendered by you can go a long way in empowering the local
communities and restoring their environs to the idyllic charm that we owe to
coming generations.
We have been running various programmes and activities. You
could join hands with us in our Primary School Support Programme, Balwaris or
preparatory schools, Village Libraries, Rural Clinics, Forestry and allied
activities, Programme for Adolescent Girls, and Income Generation Programme.
